Annie launched her real estate career after a whirlwind life as a military spouse. Her husband joined the U.S. Coast Guard shortly before their wedding in 1995. They spent the next 24 years moving 19 times throughout Italy, where she studied photography and along both U.S. coasts. Annie also often held down the fort on the home front while Kevin was on assignment in places like Africa and Saudi Arabia. On one of his tours, she took up a comprehensive study of design and interior architecture at Cornish College of the Arts.

 

Their challenging nomadic lifestyle forced Annie to reacclimate herself continually, which included embarking on an eclectic career path. After she settled in Florida, real estate became a viable alternative. She was attracted to the ability to work from home, serve her community, and help others succeed with compassion, a quality she nurtured during her military years and has made her guiding light. To enrich her clients’ already productive experiences, Annie seizes on her creativity and her numerous industry designations, including as a Luxury Certified Agent, Certified New Home Specialist, and Real Estate Staging Association Certified Staging Advocate.

 

Annie grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and was just 14 years old when her discipline and grit were severely tested after she fractured seven vertebrae in a skiing accident. Her mental will was challenged as much as her physical resolve, Annie successfully overcame her setback and was intent on living with purpose and accomplishing as much as possible in life. She has gone on to raise three thriving boys, whom she considers her greatest achievement. In Annie’s downtime, she loves to travel and explore Florida with her husband and pets in their Airstream trailer. She also enjoys daily walks, going to the beach, visiting her favorite restaurants, and kayaking. Annie consistently gives back to local organizations, including The Volunteer Way, Metropolitan Ministries, The Lucas Foundation, the Ali Spears Foundation, and the Starkey RedHawks PTA.
