The brewery had not posted admission or menu prices for 2026 when we checked, so expect the usual a la carte Bavarian kitchen and check its site the week of. Douglas Avenue parking is gone by six on Saturday; use the Artisan Garage at 356 Monroe Street or ride the Pinellas Trail. Woodwright Brewing, up the street at 985 Douglas, runs its own Oktoberfest music in the Bierhalle from six to ten on Friday and Saturday, so a two brewery night is a short walk.

Saturday, October 3, from nine until noon, the Dunedin History Museum opens the grounds of the Gladys E. Douglas Preserve at 1900 Virginia Avenue for an exterior look at Gladys Douglas's historic home, her tennis court, and the Jerry Lake shoreline. The museum's education curator brings artifacts from the residence and historic photographs, and sponsors provide light refreshments. After this event, this part of the preserve closes until the expansion is complete, which is what makes the morning worth the alarm clock. Free, with registration recommended through the museum.

It is an outdoor event on unimproved ground, so bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and closed toe shoes. The preserve carries a Clearwater mailing address but is city of Dunedin land. Twenty dollars, eighteen for museum members, about ninety minutes, and it needs six participants to run.

Couples, and anyone house hunting along the water north of Main Street. Walking Victoria Drive with a guide is the fastest way to understand why those lots cost what they cost.
